BONA(2B and 4B azo-oners)

   â€‹β-Oxynaphthoic acid (BONA) is the coupling component. The same chemistry is involved as for β-Naphthols. A heat resistance of up 240 °C make this class acceptable for plastics, but the light fastness and alkaline resistance are often relatively low.
