Transmission lubricants are designed for extended drain service, improved shifting comfort and wear protection compared to typical petroleum gear oils. This transmission oils contain friction modifier, extreme pressure additives, as well as rust, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors to protect synchronizers, gear and bearings operated under a wide range of running conditions.
